Unravel a secret in a mid-U.S. town that traps every visitor. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. Check out our list of updates and cancellations to see if your favorite show has made it. The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia. The site, known as Beaver Bank Village, has a long history and many years ago housed housing, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, and more (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a mock town has been built on top of them. When Boyd climbs a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered down to him. When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall. The rope was not dropped by Martin. Very intriguing series. Good storytelling. Good characters, as most of them have common sense. Good horror tv. Gory as hell in parts. Lots of mysterious things to ponder. I really enjoyed the first season and hope he makes a second one. There aren’t many good horror tv shows out there anymore. This is a good one imo.
